What ever happen to Darren "The Beat Banger" Vegas?
In some ways I agree with this and in other ways I don't. Crooked was a different type of rapper when he was on Tha Row. I don't want to use the term "battle rapper", but his style was definitely more raw. I know that there are several exception to the rule, but for the most part Crooked seemed to have one style back then. I'd say he has grown as an emcee though. His songwriting ability and subject matter has increased ten fold since he dropped Young Boss 2 a few years back. The question is subjective though, because it comes down to what style of Hip Hop you prefer. If your into that raw underground-lyrical flow, you probably liked pre-Row to Row era Crooked. These days he's impossible to categorize, he's got so many styles that he's in a league of his own.
from a musical perspective, his music was wayyyyyyy better when he was on tha row.still tha rowfuc wid usback on the blockyou dont know freestylerespect freestylesnoop diss freestylequit snitchinetc
