kobe as the undisputed leader has lead his team to the biggest choke in nba finals history (blowin a 24 point lead at home)

and the 2nd largest nba finals ass whoopin ever (39 point loss tonight)

wanna know the difference between kobe and MJ?

in the finals, kobe is on the 2nd biggest losing team EVER (tonight) and MJ was on the biggest WINNING team ever. (42 point win in the finals -- Chicago (96) vs. Utah (54), June 7, 1998.)

hahahaha. the numbers dont lie. kobe cant win shiet as the main guy, now he's gonna kic and scream in the laker locker room and pray that some lil 19 year old center can save his ass from being exposed. nicca rode shaq and now he wants to ride another big man. fag ass nicca can't carry nobody.

3 Allstars and future hall of famers vs 1 Allstar and future hall of famer. Gotta like the 3 Allstars chances everytime. You cant put it all on Kobe. And no knock to MJ, but he never faced a team in the finals with 3 Allstars in or just passed their prime (LA was in decline in '91)

True Kobe is no MJ, but still he lead a team that no one picked to even finish 1st in their division to the #1 seed in the toughest conference race in NBA history, and to the NBA finals where they just played a team that was flat out better then them. By far the toughest defense Kobe has faced.

Its not about what Kobe couldnt do as a leader, but it was about what Boston was able to do with their incredible d.

Hats off to the Celts for on hell of a season. They deserved to win 8)

With you guys it's always black or white. God or moron. Leader or fugitive. MVP or overrated. The truth is in the middle, guys. Kobe is no doubt the best player in the League, and he's no doubt the most skilled one. He deserved the MVP award and played great till the NBA Finals (just ask Denver, Utah and San Antonio). But he had problems against Boston defence. Expecially in the shooting selection. Boston shutted him down with a great team defence, and great solo performances in defence by Allen, Pierce and Posey. He was forced to make off-balanced shots, and never find a nice flow. The comparision with Jordan is wrong. First of all because Pippen never flopped like Gasol/Odom did. Second, because Jordan was menthally stronger than him. Third, because this comparision is getting boring for real. Let Kobe be Kobe. He's the best player in the League NOW. He doesn't have to go back to the past to play against Magic, Bird, Michael, Dr. J, etc.. to prove he's the MVP. Just like Shaq didn't have to play against Wilt, Kareem, Bill etc.. to get a ring. Stop living off the past. Let's talk about those NBA Finals. Celtics deserved the ring. Props to them. That's it.

SHAQ CARRIED THE LAKERS BACK IN THE 3-PEAT DAYS.
KOBE CHOKED.
