The boring ass Devils & their cheating defense trap.  The thuggery, holding junk.  THEY EXPANDED WAY TOO MUCH! .  Cities that didn't deserve teams were getting teams.  There were too many ties   teams were not playing for the win, just a point.  People say that a tie is like kissing your sister, but in the NHL...a tie is more like knocking up your sister, mother, & ugly cousin.

hockey is way too fast for the average american they can't follow the puck. I agree that bettman is a jerk but if people would like the sport it would sell itself. It has some potential ( a lot of great players come out of the universities) but not enough to become a major sport, and it's cool like that. USA got baseball, us canadian got hockey and europeans got soccer its aight

First off...after the lockout...they didn't go back with ESPN...IF you CANT find the games on tv...it wont be getting popular anytime soon.

Like...where the fuck is Versus? Its gotten better...but the NHL needs a deal with ESPN asap...thats how you explain it.

Well...how are you suppose to find hockey games on a network thats almost impossible to find? While EVERYONE knows what channel ESPN is...come on man..common sense. Like you could go to a sports bar in the US and there would'nt be one NHL game on any tvs.


BUT the problem is mainly in the southern and western states...where even in the local areas its almost impossible to find the game unless you have some sort of package.
