After Doggystyle...what are Snoop's three best albums?

yep.  Doggfather is my 2nd fav snoop album, and I don't know how people can rate his other albums above it

Tha Doggfather of course, maybe The Last Meal and the Blue Carpet Treatment. But I say Doggfather his second best album. I don't really like his other albums after that but some tracks.

I actually listen to Tha Doggfather the most out of all his albums.
Top Dogg and Paid Tha Cost have the most replay value for me besides that.
I couldn't get into his other albums.

I voted for Last Meal and Ego Trippin. Say what you will but Snoop tried something that was conceptually different and to me, it was better than all of those albums before where he seemed so influenced by the trends at the time. He didn't just throw the hottest-selling rappers at the time on a record with the big producers like "Paid The Cost" and "Rhythm + Gangsta". The West Coast one he did before Ego Trippin had some dope tracks on there but something felt off to me about it. Still enjoy it but I thought Ego Trippin was a great album outside of two or three cuts.

These are the 3 albums after Doggystyle that Dr.Dre worked on, he was absent on the 5 others.
What does that tell you ??

Damn, interesting. Hmm...I never thought of it like that, but to be real, I don't think Dre really MADE those albums what they were. On Top Dogg, he definitely produced the hardest track in "Bitch please" and held it down on some other tracks. On Last Meal, Hennessey and Bud and Lay low were dope, but that album was dope to me because of the consistency throughout the album and the overall vibe. On Blue Carpet Treatment, Boss Life was great when it came out, but it doesn't sound as dope to me anymore...and "Round here" was basically "Stan" pt. 2.

With that....I honestly think Battlecat had as much as an impact in making those three albums his best (after Doggystyle) as Dre did, although Dre's presence period may have just motivated him and helped to elevate the overall strength of the album.

It was tight between TBCT and Top Dogg. I prefer the feel to TBCT more than Top Dogg so it came out on top, even if Bitch Please is better than all the tracks on TBCT.
