Slaughterhouse is alright but...
« on: February 27, 2009, 05:06:27 PM »
i see most of their music as soundin the same.  i respect all of them but Crook could do a lot better if he just reached out to some other artists on his coast

i'd much rather see a westcoast supergroup of hmmm Crooked I, Eastwood, Roscoe and somebody else like Shade or Tri-Star(i'd say kurupt but he's supposedly workin on about 10 projects already).  this would be a hella better album and sell more too as long as they can put out at least one video and not just on the internet

if any of you ever run into them let em know so they can get this shit started ha

but for real there's no way this group could fail

NAH THIS IS THE PROBLEM
crooked is one of the best rappers there is and he shits on all rappers you mentioned
matter fact hes better than
joey
joel
royce

but its better to have a supergroup coast to coast so you can get a mindset of whats goin on coast 2 coast unless it was some crazy shit like

crooked
sly boogy
ras kass
jay o felony

or something wit them involved

but crooked>>>>>roscoe, tristar, joe budden, eastwood (current), and many more
damn u still havent logged off...ur hurting everyone with all this wack shit u drop, it hurts more then getting the swine flu

there's no "fact", it's all opinions. my opinion is that royce is the best out of the group.

merging all fan bases together will be the best for crooked, people that listen to budden/royce/joell never heard of him before, good exposure for him

i'll give you that crook shits on them lyrically and a better overall rapper but thats the thing, the best songs don't have to be all superb lyrics.  if he's with roscoe and eastwood then yeah he can stand out as the mc but it doesn't mean the other two won't show up strong on a song with him

and i can understand that with having ortiz, royce and budden they bring all their fanbases together which is a good thing but ultimately the best music will win the most fans in the end.  and in my opinion which might as well just be the facts is that they would make a much better album than slaughterhouse.  any westcoast production they would have would bump harder than what slaughterhouse has brought to the table thus far

Well for the FANS (they must have good music if they have alot of those, right?) of the three artists u don't like in the group, I Would say their music is more about substance and providing a message, instead of just making songs that will bump in your car and make u feel like a gangsta...

So that is what it is.....

so are you speaking for the fans or are you saying that their music is better because it's all substance and having a message?  i agree they have substance but are you sayin roscoe and eastwood don't?  i think my point is that a better album would have BOTH substance and some gangsta shit!  this can't be done with slaughterhouse but can be done with a westcoast supergroup

why settle for only one type of rap when you can get the best of both worlds?

Ah there's no doubt about it that I'd rather see Crook in a supergroup with West Coast artists, but look how hard it is for the West right now. I think that he's hoping that since each emcee is from a different state that they are able to generate more fans.

BTW: The music IS insane, but Crook clearly outshines the other guys. Royce is my runner up though.

I love all 4 artist even before the group started but crook has shined the brightest for me with Ortiz being runner up for me.and crooked is already in a west coast group no country for old men!
