People can say all sorts. But it's the industry, not the artists. Snoop managed to help out people like Bad Azz, Doggy's angels to name a few, then there's Dr Dre - a contentious figure when discussing in assisting the West Coast, but he's more than helped people like Mike Elizondo, Bishop Lamont, and lets not forget the massive effort with The Game - who still reps West to the fullest. Then there's Ice Cube who has stated that there will be some form of young West Coast talent in his upcoming movie... Whether than be actor or musician remains to be seen, but the seniors still do their thing, and do what they do to remain top business men. A lot of the reaching out and requests come from a lot of frustration, but it's the industry that's to blame.... The main people West Coast EG: Snoop, Dre, Cube, they've put in a lot of hard effort, and endured some forms of shyt that many don't - loosing their labels that generate multi millions, loosing family members, trials for murder etc. during their early mainstream success, and reach out while they're in that young commercial success, but they grow up, mature, and become more responsible with age, and then deserve the break to chill, and to do the fun musical acting movie shyt, and lay back and enjoy life after all thatBottom line, the industry, and it's wide-range majority of consumers need to change - not the artists

not a fan of the Game, I bought a used doggystyle cd for 2.99 at rasputins that included Gz up Hoez down.

They have what we have been dreaming of for over a decade now, and we need to support them to ensure that we finally get the songs we have been waiting for. We show them love, they'll show it back to us.Yeah, you are right. +1I really hope this shit doesn't flop, if it does they might not be releasin' any other music. Maybe they will try to concentrate on movies and shit like that. No, even if it flops, they'll still release the music, No other point to owning Death row. If it fails, then worse case is nothing is released, and sadly best (if they closed the label) is they whore out the tracks from the vault on all there other crap...

But they did spend $18 Million on purchasing the Death Row catalog. And I'm sure they've spent considerably more on promotion and having discs pressed up. I don't know that they have to "knock one out of the park," so to speak, in order for the company to stay afloat. But on the other hand, I don't know that they could afford to totally "lose their ass" on these releases either. The bottom line is, if the company goes under, there probably won't be any more tracks. But I'm not trying to sound like I'm better than anyone else. I've downloaded music before too. I just hope that if people have a few extra dollars to spare, they consider picking these releases up.
fuck the relit, where's the unreleased material that people really give a shit about lol @ including bonus tracks and trying to market 'the chronic' or any death row music to a younger audience. the album is called 'the chronic' - the content is not exactly suitable for kids. smoke weed every day
