i've been thinking


in the mountain time zone

you get NFL at 11 am and the night games are over by 11 pm, you get the world series at 7pm, NFL finals at like 6 pm

Pacific. NFL games start at 10 and 1. Sunday/Monday night games don't end at 11pm.
And NBA games usually start at 7:30 at the latest. It must suck to be on the East coast were some games start at 10:30pm.

I don't know which would be better:

An American wanting to watch something in Europe would have to get up real early.
A Euro wanting to watch something in America would have to stay up real late.

However if you factor in Japan such as the World Cup in 2002 then I would consider Europe to be in the middle and therefore GMT would get my BIASED vote.

I can only compare Central and Pacific time zones, and I will say Pacific hands down. Everything is early, you come home and the early game on TNT is winding down, Lakers on KCAL 9 is the shit at 7:30 and baseball games don't go until 1AM in the morning. Seriously, I had to stay up until 1 or 2AM to watch the Angels and Yankees in the playoffs. In LA, that's 11 or 12, which is late enough considering work the next day.

I've only known the Eastern Time Zone but there's something very appealing about being abe to wake up at 10AM and watch Football, and then be done with the bulk of the games by 4PM. I start at 1 and even if I don't want to watch the 8:30 game it's still past 7 on a Sunday with not much to do for the day.

Regular Season= West Coast

Post Season= East Coast

why? =  because in the Post Season i want to be able to see the whole game and being in the west they cater to the east coast market in the post season (Especially MLB) ... for example... we had Dodger Games being played at 1pm Pacific on a weekday! WTF!... id rather be able to stay up late and acctually get to watch the game then not being able to watch at all because im stuck at work

in the NBA as well but not as bad... games start at like 5pm at Staples Center when normally they start at like 7:30pm....

and trying to get to these post season games with LA Rush Hour traffic is already a nightmare... and thats why i get pissed off when everyone including the media talks trash about our fans showing up late to games...until you have to deal with what we have to go through thats bullshit.

its a tough cll, i agree my sundays are shot usually from watching football, but i think id miss parts of 10 am games, plus i usually like to go out or somewhere to watch them, id have to wake up at like 8-830, and after saturday night, but sunday night games are usually hard for me, i was out like a stone last night
