SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP)—Charlie Weis arrived at Notre Dame flashing Super Bowls rings and talking about outscheming opponents. He leaves one of college football’s most prestigious programs without even matching the record of the two men who were fired before him.Athletic director Jack Swarbrick announced the decision to fire Weis on Monday, saying in a news release: “We have great expectations for our football program, and we have not been able to meet those expectations”“As an alumnus, Charlie understands those goals and expectations better than most, and he’s as disappointed as anyone that we have not achieved the desired results.”
So who hopes Dungy comes back to coach Notre Dame.
Weis def won't go back to the Pats 'cause I gotta' feeling he'll get a head coaching job

That's not a rhetorical question. With the current coaches on the market what team out there is thinking of firing a coach and would want Wies. The only team I see that might end up with no one after this is whole mess is Buffalo and maybe they'll take him. I can't think of any team.

Hey, if he had Peyton Manning at ND he'd have had 4 or 5 BCS rings right now.
It's funny that he got fired from a mediocre team college team and now he's expected to go to a an NFL team
