Snoops worst album ever? I hope it grows on me....

I can't believe people are hating on this CD...This album is better than all his other albums except for Doggystyle and Doggfather...Sure Snoop tried some different shit on this album, most notably no Dre, but even though there are no standout tracks like HennesseynBuddah or Bitch Please I think overall this album is a solid 4/5...My only complaint is that I would have liked to hear Daz on at least one cut and maybe cut the songs down to 15 or so...

DNARROW: i got my computer connected to my system which has HUGE sound, not computer speakers! also, for meal Last meal had way more that 4 good tracks, and the good tracks were GREAT, while the good tracks on this are just pretty good.  THere is nothing wrong with a lot of tracks, but i have a feeling others will see this a little differently once the album soaks in a little.  I'm not gonna listen again until i buy the album, then i wll give it a long time as i do with every Snoop release...

I heard just two tracks so far and to tell u the truth ii really love the Snoop delivers is lyrics on them,paper'd up and chuuch to da palace.It's like he's really focusing on his flow nowadayz.To jugde by those two tracks the album will be cracking

what do 'ya all have against the new snoop album??? ok, i know it isn't as good as his first albums was, but it isn't that bad! i heared some songs of it till now and i gotta say, that i like it more, then some oter snoop albums...

even if he hasn't that good features on this album!

I know we dont need another Snoop thread, but here it is anyway!  Damn, since i dissed the hell out of Jigga and Xzibit for their subpar albums, i gotta do the same for Snoop because this is just appaling!  Only Da Game... is worst among Snoop albums, Last meal is at least twice as good as this!  Seriously, i have not been more disapponted on a first listen in a long time.  I am a big Snoop fan, but ya'll will probably say i am hating or whatever.  But seriously, I have been pretty hard on Jay and Xzibit (both of whom piss me off a lot nowadays) so i gotta do it to my man Snoop, cuz i cant believe he came with an album like this!  

Of course, i will give this album many listens as SNoop is my favourite rapper behind Ras and Nas.....and i am sure the album will grow on me.  However, i can't remember an album since Nastradamus that is so bad on first listen!  I mean, seven or 8 nice songs and some serious shit besides that!  The bad thing is, Snoop sounds nice for the most part, but its the beats!  And the wackass choruses!  

On a side note, Beautiful is actually TIGHT, and i never like Neptunes songs for the most part....and the premo joints are up there as the best songs on the album.  Other than that, terribly disappinted, probably because the only other dope songs are ones i've already heard.

I was extremely disappointed with this, I expected it to be tighter than the advances, but the advances was near classic compared to the final version.
If somebody blamed Xzibit for having Eastcoast-beats, then I suggest that they don't listen to this CD, because it's Eastcoast overload!!

If I stretch it a lil, I might say that there is 3-4 tight tracks on this CD, and a few tolerable ones.
This will be the first Snoop-CD that I don't buy OG.
I will rather take 3-4 of the tracks of this, and mix it with 12-15 of the tracks from the advances, and put it on a CD-R.

Maybe I will buy it if it's on sale or sumthin.
And I hating neither, people on mIRC is saying the same.

jome i aint tryna judge or or anything but like i was expecting this off u man, u was kool with snoop until he dissed xzibit, then suddenly u start hating him, u should support westcoast music and buy his shit, im my opinion. i mean even if u was really feelin this album, would probably still wouldnt buy it kuz of what happened with him n xzibit. and i havent heard snoops album yet but i find it hard to believe his album sounds more eastkoast than xzibits...............kuz heres the difference between them at this stage im my opinion.......n you already know xzibits one of my favourite rappers so like i dont hate on him.....but snoops sounds westcoast on any beat, its jus what snoop is but xzibit needs a good westcoast soundin beat to rock it westcoast style, ya feel what im sayin? u probably dont agree but ya get what im sayin right? they both 2 of my fav rappers but like xzibits gonna have to bring up sum major heat on his next album after this but like i havent heard snoops album so i'll get back to ya with my opinions on that but like seriously man..........u hate the album that much?

THIS IS OUR PROBLEM -- we are such big fans that we hear everything snoop makes so we get all dissipionted if he leaves a song or two off that we liked alot...........and because there is no dre prod. we autamatically think damn we missed out on three tight tracks which we probably did, but we can't think of things in those terms we have to enjoy the album for what it is

I could care less if Snoop threw one line towards Xzibit, and if you read my 10 latests post on Snoop Dogg, do I mention Xzibit at all?
Did I "suddenly" start hating on him? NO, I didn't. I don't hate him at all, but I hate his new commercialized Eastcoast-sound.
It sounds like the albums wasn't made for Snoop, but some random Eastcoast-rapper.

The biggest issue of them all, is that there is no Dre on the album. NO FUCKING DRE ON A SNOOP-ALBUM!!
I thought it was just a rumour when I first heard it, but it was the sad truth.
If you can tell me that Snoop sounds Westcoast on this CD, I'll give you a Jay-Z CD, and axe you to find Westcoast on that one too.
Xzibit's CD had a EastCoast-sound, YES, but this takes the prize fa sho.
Even Jay-Z's latest sounded more Westcoast than this.
This is only one notch better than Da Game, maybe 2.

When Da Game dropped, I had the feeling that he sold his soul to the South.
This album gives me the feeling that he appointed Neptunes as his personal manager.
I aint hating, because there was actually 2-4 dope joints, and some tolerable ones, but the total is thumbs down.

I suggest you listen to the album, then give me some feedback
And point out the remotely Westcoast-tracks to me please..
