the team of today's players.as long as you have current NBA refs doing these games, Chris Paul is going to be shitting on Magic Johnson with crossover (carry) after crossover, LeBron would be pulling shit that none of them can guard, same for Kobe.Shaq & Timmy in his prime would beast both Kareem & Hakeem.the game has changed in the last 30 years & if you play by todays rules, that team would win by 25.
So you are going to take everyone at their peak, gotta go with the 80's. Add in a bench of McHale, Rodman, Barkley and Stockton vs McGrady, Dwight Howard, Melo, Wade to make it interesting.
magic would do alot of damage here. especially over the smaller chris paul
Larry's outside shot over Lebron all day. Throw in Magic and Larry making those perfect passes Hakeem and Jabar on the inside. Jabar's sky hook over Shaq more than Shaq's power post up over Jabar. But I'm bias. I just think both Magic and Larry on the same team would be too smart for the new guys.

What do you know? You weren't even a cum shot in your dads sack when most of those "old timers" played. Hell you didn't even know Javier Vasquez pitched for the Yanks a couple of seasons ago you testicular cancer lump.

Lebron is definitely more "athletic" than Bird, but so were a lot of players Larry shut down over the years. We're talking about a guy that would constantly grab boards over Rodman, and steal balls from the top ball handlers. Larry's greatest strength was his intelligence, then his effort, then his skill. I'm not saying that means he'd shut down Lebron, but I think he'd do better playing D against him than Lebron would against Larry. Magic is simply out of Paul's league. Jordan can play with Kobe and you know whose side the refs will be on. The only question is how well Kareem can guard Shaq. But Larry will be playing inside D a lot and the one thing about Larry most people never talk about is his tongue. He can get inside players heads and really piss them off. It sounds silly but that will be a factor in this game. Every time Shaq is posting on Kareem and Larry takes the ball from the other side Shaq is gonna hear it and after a while he's going to blow up. I don't see Shaq finishing the game because of fouls.Duncan over Barkley or Hakeem would be the best bet to win this game but he's got little ego and every one else has too much, so Duncan simply won't get the ball. The new team will self destruct because of that. I don't think there's enough respect for each other on the new team, while the old team has all the respect in the world for each other, and except for Jordan maybe, won't be trying to hog the ball.
