I know it's late but I just wanted to put my two cents in because this really is a quality album from Snoop.  This is more of what we are looking for when we go to buy a Snoop album; for all of us West Coast fans that grew up listening to him.   He doesn't disappoint on this one.  It still falls easily behind Tha Last Meal, but for today's meager hip-hop market this album should go down as one of the best releases of the year.

"I Don't Need No Bitch" is a banger, and the way Pilots voice and chemistry vibes with Snoop on "Gang Bang Rookie" reminds me of Lil Malik on "Pump Pump", another banger on the album.  "Eyez Closed" would of been a dope cut if not for Kanye rappin on it, "El Lay" is a great Cali cut and helps give the album it's West Coast signature we were hopin for.  This album doesn't contain nearly any filler after that, so an all around solid record, "Way Life Used To Be" and "My Own Way" are also standout cuts.

not even close to one of the best albums of the year

real talk...especially when it gets mr 1996s seal of approval.

that knocks any albums credibility down a few notches once the lames take a liking to it.

This album is gettin the most replay from me since when Paid Tha Cost first dropped. Snoops fully back making tight music that is enjoyable to listen to too. So many great tracks on there and the mix of musical styles keeps the album fresh all the way through. Gangbang Rookie is a classic already. Best+Most enjoyable album since Last Meal no doubt..

I skip half of the tracks, but if the album only had the songs that I don't skip, this would've been Snoop Dogg's best album since Tha Last Meal.

omg this phrase is almost blasphemous. even by today's standards Pilot is a subpar rapper and Snoop's lyrics are so preposterous that the song becomes immediately irrelevant and irritating. it's too bad 'cause the beat was kinda tight, really nothing in common with Malik's dopeness on Pump Pump.

it's songs like that that convinced me NOT to check this album, and to this day i still haven't checked for it. i only know of wet/sweat (both terrible), take u home (nothing special, annoying hook), the songs with devin (average), and bootsy n goldie (cool song).

the only very good song I heard so far is "Wonder What It Do" and as M. Madsen said it's very weak lyrically.

Yeah I dig this album too. Has more of a compilation feel to it then a cohesive album but I have come accustomed to that from Snoop over the years lol.
