I watched it last night on VH1. Wasn't that good. Could be my fault cuz I already know his story so well but it just seemed so ehh. Could also be cuz he didn't have much drama in his career. I wouldve liked them to talk to guys like Dre, Ren, B-Real, Mack 10 for segments but of course they didn't.

Highlight was when Cedric the Entertainer called him the modern day Bill Cosby and said he could do a Jello commercial if he wanted lmao.

This. I didn't learn much new about Cube other than his half-sister. But, that was interesting how they called Cube the modern day Bill Cosby.

no doubt with the people on dubcnn we all know cubes career too well. but i thought it was one of the best behind the musics as far as giving someone who doesnt know a real insight to cube.

I think a artist with a career as extensive as Ice Cube, 1 hour is just not enough time to cover everything. I mean you could do a 1 hour Behind The Music on NWA & Ice Cube alone. No mention of No Vaseline, which I thought was

^ yeah good point there too. They rushed the shit out of his story. They talked about him branching into acting, then they showed the war & peace 2 album cover and said 'in 2000 ice cube returned to his first love, rapping'. Next thing you know they're showing him performing "I rep that west" on stage with his kids then boom, mob wives or some gay shit is on. I swear I thought my girl flipped the channel or something I'm like "yo put it back on behind the music" and she says "its over" and it really was =(

They could have left some of the fluffy shit out....They didn't even talk about Cube getting his ass beat a couple of times (allegedly) ...Damn. No seriously, we know Cube ain't really a gangsta or anything so they did it the best way. Pretty much just about the music. Cube's had a great career.

I think they left some shit out of it. They didnt bring up any of the WestSide Connection stuff. They should have talked about how he was responsible for launching Mack 10 & WC's careers. I think it was too general but then again you can only fit so much shit into a one hour program with commercials.
