1.  "Throw Your Hood Up" Off Silk The Shockers Charge It To The Game-  This song came out before Snoop had officially signed with No Limit.  It was one of the first tracks he did with them, and it actually made me excited about the prospects of him joining No Limit.

2.  "Soldiers" -track 4 off Master P's Da Last Don- This was the one where Mystikal shouts "Boom Boom Boom On Your Bitchass", the beat to this one was pretty dope.  Snoop was all over that Last Don album which added an extra dimension to the project and helped it blow up bigger than any previous No Limit album ever had.

3.  "Welcome To My World"- first track off Game is To Be Sold-  I bought the album at a midnight sale at blockbuster music it was a long line for the album.  That was a dope experience going to a midnight sale, because it's something that will never happen again with the advent of digital downloads.  I listened to this song first as it was the first track on the album and I was thinking right away the album would be incredible, it was all downhill after that though, and I realized I'd been scammed by the whole No Limit mirage.

honorable mention...

This track doesn't really count because it was produced by Soopafly.  But it came out in the middle of the No Limit era and was on I Got The Hook Up album.  The tracked "Hooked" had Snoop back to the West Coast sound he did best in his prime, and was the Snoop we were all wanting to hear.

Slow Down (feat. Mia X)
Gin & Juice II
Game Of Life (feat. Steady Mobbin)

All these songs are from "Da Game". Beats Py The Pound actually changed their name to The Medicine Men and Carlos "C-Los" Stephens ain't with them anymore. Does anybody know why?

All these songs are from "Da Game Is To Be Sold, Not To Be Told".

pretty much the same, except that I don't really like Gin & Juice II, to me it'd be

1. Slow Down => i love the old school sample and the intensity of the track with Mia X tearing it up.
2. Mama Raised Me from MP Da Last Don feat. Soulja Slim => i love the interpolation of Shalamar's For the Lover in You and everybody's verses
3. Game of Life => I love how Carlos Stephen (i think) flipped the 5 Minutes of Funk beat and made it his own. I was a bit disappointed by Steady Mobbin's performance on the track though, Crooked Eye & Bavgate usually come much more correct on the beat.

Yeah, nice one... I forgot about "Slow Down".   I was getting it mixed up with "Thinkin About You" off of Master P's Da Last Don.  But now I remember Mia X also gave "Slow Down" to Snoop for his album.

How is "Down For My Nigg@'$" not on this list? That beat is one of their hardest ever

I never liked that song.  It really had no melody or "music" to it.

I liked Ho's, Money and Clout but I think that too was produced by Soopafly, I guess his best tracks were produced by Soopafly and Meech during '98

yeah.. those definitely don't count.  "Still A G Thang" was a really dope cut I liked back in the day.  The first single off his Da Game album.  Meech was throwing him some heat in those days, but you can't count those tracks.  Because technically Top Dogg and Last Meal (great albums) were both on No Limit but they were West Coast produced and unlike any other No Limit albums.

...that's why I wanted to just focus on his Beats By The Pound material.

i just recently compiled all the no limit features snoop did and i ended up with a total 49 tracks.
he had a couple of good tracks
my top 3
- Gangsta Walk w/ C-murder (I used to bang the shit outta this when it came out, beat is a banger and still is!)
- It's A Beautiful Thing / TRU (its really just snoop and C-murder . Beat by Meech!)
- Hooked (soopafly beat, snoop sounded just like in the death row dayz here)

I love that one too.  But that doesn't count.  Because, if that track counts then I'd have to list all these songs...

"Buck Um"
"Bitch Please"
"Just Dippin"
"Heat Goes Boom"
"Lay Low"
"Go Away"
"Ya'll Gone Miss Me"

basically I'd have to list over half the tracks on Top Dogg and Last Meal

People should read the topic title and the first post before postin'. Infinite asked about songs that were produced by Beats By The Pound.
