"It's On (Dr. Dre) 187Um Killa" is a classic album. Always been my favorite release from Eazy-E. It doesn't deserve to be on that list.

I agree with these being on the list but some needed to be higher up than others:

Kingdome Come
Crunk Rock
BTNH Resurrection
I'm Gay
Blood Money
Year Of The Dog Again
Welcome Back
Electric Circus
No Mercy
Best of Both Worlds
The Firm
Rebirth
Can-I-Bus
Nastradamus

didn't agree with:

Doggfather (Malice N Wonderland was MUCH worse)
It's On 187um Killa (more of an EP than an album, shouldn't have even counted)
Lethal Injection (big WTF here, this is Cube's favorite album to some and my second)
Forever (I don't care if it was Puffy, this had some gems on it and his Press Play album was much worse)
Last 2 Walk (sure it had a few horrible tracks and was kinda scattered in parts, but still not a bad album overall)

never heard the rest of the albums, interesting read though

"Complex" isn't a Rap/Hip Hop magazine, they're more like a male Caucasian Teenager to Early 30's type of magazine - they're not really all that well rounded when it comes to Hip Hop and Porn (had to say it).

I agree with homie, "It's On" shouldn't have counted either becuz it's 5half songs deep.  And it's funny that this EP was brought back up becuz i was just saying again tha other month on here (after somebody bumped an old thread) that this EP COULDNT be considered a classic even if it's Classic front to back.  If Eazy woulda just saved more of his material and released "It's On" with "5150" and I'm sure an unreleased track or two then Eazy could've had 1 of the greatest ALBUMS of the early 90's and he would've surpassed his sophomore jinx (which i think he was a tad bit worried about at tha time considering how big Death Row was).

Other than that almost half of that list is garbage (honestly not a surprise).  "BTNHRessurrection" >>>>>>>>> "The Art of War" so that's all I'ma say about that 1.  "Lethal Injection" really was a WTF moment and where was "Watch The Throne"?

Asking me to take head from "Complex" magazine is like going to Taco Bell and getting a Triple Bacon Cheeseburger with everything on it.

Weird list. Never even heard of many of those albums.

I like the articles Complex does with artists though.

Some of you are really missing the point with the article. It's not naming the worst albums ever or the worst of said artists' careers but more pointing out albums where the artist in question pissed away their momentum.
While I don't agree with every selection, I feel it's a pretty accurate list.

With Eazy's 187 Killa EP, you have to remember that this was the break-up of NWA. Dre had gone on to "The Chronic" which proved to be huge for his career where this release was seen as kind of just a smaller-scale attempt to answer it and piggyback off the controversy. It wasn't overly well-received in its time and while "Real Muthaphuckin' G'z" has proven to have staying power, nothing much else from that release really took flight. Many people had close the books on Ruthless until Bone Thugs came along. It wasn't until Eazy died, that the tide started to shift in terms of public opinion.

I think the point of the article was to get us to click "next" 50 times to see 50 different ads. That's why they've added any album they could come up with a lil hater blurb for. ;)

true. it still managed to score 4x plat, more than The Chronic. but yeah Ruthless momentum died down nonetheless until Bone Thugs came in the picture.

I do think It's On Dr. Dre 187 Um Killa is a classic though. The production is amazing (thank you Rhythm D., Yella, Hutch & Madness 4 Real) and Real Muthaphukkin' G'z is one of the fiercest diss songs ever written, much more on point and à propos than Fuck With Dre Day (which is an absolute jewel musically speaking but not an efficient diss song).
