Dr. Dre mentioned he likes Lil Wayne.  Lil Wayne is selling, so he must be doing it for the money.  I hope to god he doesn't put him on Detox if it ever drops.  If he thinks this guy is talented, I'm worried about Dr. Dre's future.

I remember Lil Wayne's name being mentioned a few years ago as far as people Dre was reaching out to for Detox.

However, Lil Wayne isn't nearly as popular now as he was in 2008-2009-2010, so hopefully Dre won't end up using his stuff.  Or maybe he's just going to have Lil Wayne ghostwrite something for him (like Jay-Z doing Still D.R.E.), as opposed to him being a guest artist.

As much as I dislike Lil Wayne and his music since the Carter albums, he used to make good music. He can rap. I'm sure if he's in the studio 1 on 1 with a producer who guides him, it can work out really well. The man can rap, even though he doesn't showcase his talent much.

Yeah Wayne definitely has talent, he just needs someone to harness it and guide him. Dre seems to be doing a bit of a southern working tour with tip, nelly, Ross and now wayne. Interesting options, maybe he's making a southern version of "some l.a. niggas"

He has been down in Miami for the week i gather and just been working with the people he can get in contact with down there. Just going to the stu and see what they can cook up, who knows where any of the tracks being made are gonna go whether a mixtape, album, the artists album or whatever. i just hope we get more audio and less pics...
