The Game is a lyricist, hate it or not. i'm not a huge fan of the guy, and content wise his music ain't particularly deep but you gotta acknowledge his writing skills. he has some very nice rhyme schemes, play on words, puns and stuff... even his namedropping obsession can sound nice...

it's a shame not to have included Ice Cube though... dude is one of the most proficient songwriters and he is a dope lyricist.

San Quinn deserves to be on that list too.

I like Hitman from RBL (R.I.P.) & Young Ed from San Fran, his catalogue is not humongous but he dropped a few gems in the mid 90's

I thought about Yuk too but, and dont get me wrong iam a huge fan, but he mostly raps about bling/flossin/ice/drank/clubs/money/hoes/etc these days. But dude a legend and a beast for sure. I just feel  for several albums in a row it was all brag and floss. But dude has a great catalog and i really liked that "tonight show".
 Oh and i think The Game is definitely lyrical, despite the name dropping.
 yeah well i really like RBX but bad Azz way more lyrical but thats just my opinion i guess.
