Pac croons the shit out of this. 8) 8)

Don't actually remember this alt instrumental version getting airplay in the UK in 96...but it must've. :eh:

Only thing I'm not that keen on is Danny Boys goofy ass in the background.

It's weird because the lyrics on the clean versions are USUALLY better (not always, like on 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted), but oddly Pac's energy on the album versions is waaay better... like on this one, compare when he goes "I could see us, after school, we'd booooomb" in both versions.

About the instrumentals, most radio stations played the album version at first (while obviously reversing the cuss words) from what I remember, at least in the L.A. area.

While I love the original DeBarge track, the rerecorded instrumental for the radio version of I Ain't Mad At Cha just works better. An alltime classic cut and my favourite Pac tune overall.

that 3rd verse by pac is just crazy, almost makes me wish he used that version of the song

lol i always prefered the 2 i ain't mad at cha versions to the original debarge track. i like debarge but this track is nothing special to me. the chords are nice but the singing part is annoying to me. and the instruments sound much better to me on the two I Ain't Mad At Cha versions. I wonder if Daz & Soopa produced the radio edit too.
