And its pretty wack just like i knew it would be, but what pissed me off is that shit leaked this morning but Mob Music hasnt leaked yet. WTF.

Mob Music is the one I was originally checking for. If they had dropped this project in 97/98 like they originally had planned, never would have gotten Function Music.

Too Short is TERRIBLE these days .

for real, it hurts me to see him hurt his legacy... the worst part about it is that the youngsters don't know him for all the classics he's known for.

anyway i'm not surprised in the least about this function music cd being wack. i thought the concept of function music was wack to begin with. and the leaks we had been getting so far were forced and uninspired (dump truck, money on the floor). and too short is absolutely washed up, his verse on "be you" on 40's last block brochure is preachy and embarrassing, all his verses are boring nowadays.

unfortunately i don't think the mob music cd will be much better, sure the production will be much better. but i doubt the chemistry between short & 40 will be there, and I'm not sure about the concepts, and replay value. some of the "mob" tracks on block brochure sounded good at first but didn't stand the test of time for me (I liked cutlass a lot when it came out but now i find it average, contrary to this is the life, which is still amazing to this day). anyway it should be at least decent, but i don't think we'll get a classic.
