Eastcoast Albums with a westcoast-sound ?

when the g-funk sound was the trend, many rappers nationwide tried to do that sound. some of em did it really good.
i think masta ace "sittin on chrome" is a good example...love that album!
anyone got other examples? post it  8)

Not Eastcoast, but Da Brat's first album -- Chi town rapper with an ATL producer collaborating to make a G-Funk album. Heavily influenced by Doggystyle.

BIGGIE  juicy !!  just a few songs  but not a whole album
i dont think there are many from the eascoast ...public enemy, EPMD used  lot of funk samples ..but the sound has been  different from the west since the early 90's . the bomb squad from pulic enemy produced ice cube album kill at will ...

Biggie copied the G-Funk sound for his singles, when I heard the album it was completely different, I was just thinking what's this bait and switch horse shit. I'm glad I ripped it off.

yeah, it seems that eastcoast rap with "westcoast"-sound is rare...not really surprising, since the in early to mid 90's the eastcoast-westcoast "beef" was all over the media

 i think when the west sound was dominant it increased how much east coast rappers talked about being gangstas and guns but cant say i recall many west sounding songs as far as production and style?
