DJ Quik's Smoothest Beat

I think this is one of Quik's best beats, and probably the best of his smoother beats. I can understand why he used it twice:





This beat never gets old. I prefer James DeBarge's solo track, but even Won-G's wack lyrics sound dope over this beat. Gotta love the "Nothing's Wrong" video...Quik looks like he had a good time.

the shello track is particularly awesome considering its quite an early beat...1994. the sound is impeccable. a real grown up groove, great sax and guitar licks and somehow a cowbell in the loop too
