Why is DOCs name in all this? I'm confused

And.. as for Eminem, the Relapse album bombed and was Ems biggest failure of his career. They thought just throwing him and dre in the studio would bring em back and it didn't work. They still have love for each other its just that the Relapse formula didn't work
Biggest failure? Do you cats know what you're talking about or do you post on here to live out your fantasy of being a 'music expert'? Relapse formula very much so worked, here's a link for you to rotate on https://www.google.com/url?url=http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/268533/eminems-relapse-tops-billboard-200&rct=j&sa=U&ei=2fVrUojPJcLWyQHBooGQCQ&ved=0CD8QFjAC&q=Relapse+sales&usg=AFQjCNHIfSNd6_rHG0vXmbOlGC5RL6A7-w it definitely did what it was supposed to do. Some people are too close minded to see that album was a concept album Dre's beats fit that concept. That my friends, is what a producer is supposed to do. Make the project work. Some of y'all trapped in the 90s, just discovered Death Row's catalog on YouTube cats probably wanted Dre to lace Em with some Gfunk shit on an album that's based on a serial killer's point of view. That is one of my favorite albums personally but some people don't like it, that's the beauty of art though (its all opinion based) so I can't be mad. But for you to say it was a failure when it set records for that year, get ya facts straight.

How come Em went from "The guy who barely saved my life" to "I need a doctor" and then don't have the Doc invovle on TMMLP 2 ?
No feature, no production and he asked Rick Rubin to do the executive production on the lp.
I know Dre is listed also but i 'm sure he's not involved. That's not too différent from GKMC.
that's sad because they made some classics together http://<iframe width="880" height="1200" background-color:#F999" src=="http://anonym.to/?http://musique.jeuxactu.com/video-tha-dogg-pound-feat-snoop-dogg-boucin-9314.htm"</iframe>....
Oh and how do we know Dr. Dre is not involved, did the producer credits leak?

This nigga Dre could take naps and shits for the rest of his life and will still be making millions. Why deal with egos and pressures from record labels?

the beats on relapse were dope as fuc

Beats were fucking insane and fit the theme of the songs. Em was on the psycho tip and the beats rolled over perfectly. That album is underrated IMO. Eminem went bonkers on a lyrical standpoint and literally psychotic. I know it threw some people off because of the shit he was talking about but I thought the album was crazy. As far as the beats, I agree the were fucking sick. Dudes must be deaf.

Relapse = 15 weak Dre beats and a disappointment overall . They lost their chemistry and it just isn't the same . So , Em is looking elsewhere .

This is not true!

If we are talking about the beats on relapse; the production was on a high standard. I enjoyed the consistency of it. Em's flow fitted the beats. You can argue about his rap style (accents), but beat selection was superb.

The reason why Eminem chose another music direction is because his manager Paul Rosenberg linked Rick Rubin with eminem.

Eminem always wanted to work with him. So now you have got two executive producers; Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin.

I am 100% sure that Dre has givin his input on the album, because i remember that Dre said in an interview that they just finished with em's new album.

"Relapse" is one of those albums which I appreciate more as time goes by and Em keeps dropping duds...the only thing was the annoying accent at times but Em was definitely spitting over top notch Dre beats

I've almost accepted Dre lost his touch and the Dre era is finally over. He had a long run though, started in 1986 with "Boyz N The Hood" and ended in 2009 with the Relapse album.
R.I.P Dre era 1986-2009
IS DETOX NEXT? Don't think so.

I think he has another run in him. He just needs to find direction.

I think Dre did strong production on it but I wasn't a big fan of the content at the time. A good album but not one of Em's better ones.

The album was Em spittin from the perspective of a serial killer so when he uses the accent that's him in character. I know some people that didn't understand the concept were probably like wtf, but that's what it was. You see songs like Beautiful & De Ja Vu were normal Em & not the serial killer so it didn't have the accents. MMLP was his best but Relapse is my favorite. I like concept albums and like others have said the production was on point! I would rather hear a Relapse 2 than a MMLP2 (which probably will be more of a Recovery 2).
