LINK TO DAZ ART CONTEST INFO

KURUPT N OCF
OCF Inc. is the parent company of ANTRA Music Group. OCF currently owns the name Kurupt. Kurupt is still a contracted artist on OCF. OCF has granted Daz and GA/DPG permission to release product with Kurupt's name on it. Any product released by Kurupt outside of OCF will be taken action upon. OCF INC. HAS ASKED US TO MAKE IT CLEAR TO EVERYONE THAT KURUPT IS STILL SIGNED TO THEIR LABEL. GA/DPG/OCF will be releasing a Kurupt album later this year titled AGAINST THE GRAIN.

PIMP SLAP 2
Months ago Snoop released a track titled PIMP SLAP where he disses record label Death Row. A remix has been made to this track featuring Daz. Daz and Snoop both exchange verses throwing disses at Death Row. This song will be on the upcoming Tha Row Killa Album. We will post a snippet of it in a few weeks.

DAZ SOLO W/ MORE TRACKS!?
Due to the long delays of this album we have decided to add a few more tracks! We haven't decided exactly how many, around 2-3. One of the tracks will possibly feature Tha Twinz and the other members of the roster (listed above). The album might be pushed back to June for promotional  reasons, yet again. The delay isn't certain as-of-yet, we'll update you when things are official.

2PAC N UNIVERSAL
Daz has recently signed a publishing deal with Universal Records. Daz has given Universal permission to release 2Pac records owned by him. Expect to see Daz's music on upcoming 2Pac LP's.

DAZ W/ CHILLI PEPPERS
In June, Daz will tour with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers alongside Snoop Dogg.

He is currently slated to appear on DFX.

Sound's like a beef-filled Bestcoast is killin' it's chances of getting any safe radio friendly Eastcoast type spin's on both radio & T.V. with all this in fighting between rival labels and Ego's within the structure of The Leftsides finest.
Such as:
DpG
Dogghouse
Deathrow
Dj Quik/Bungaloo
and the EASTCOAST label Aftermath. :-X

(Within' that group of ^^artists ^^....no one from any region can compete. Imagine a full Westcoast....)

Point blank they Should all get together and Destroy the comp like they did in the 90's.
But this will never happen until they rappin' in wheel chair's and throwin up dub's while holding up Oxegen tank's during the "Deathrow reunion tour 2020" When they realise the goldmine they had in making music together.

ImO
Only 2 things can come from this, The in-fighting and lack of collabs between the best could kill the Westcoast for good.
Or the other far-fetched idea of this resurgence of hard/tension filled Gangsta shit recharging the BESTcoast?
Ie: Early 90's style....?

Fuck it..
I'll die Where the sun rests.

Bring on "Pimp slap 2"

anyone else notice how this was posted the day after disfunctional family hit the net?  coincidence?  I doubt it.  I personally believe a lot of those artists are never going to see the light of day on dpg recordz.  I got nuthin but luv for daz and dpg, but I have seen way too much talk and way too many canceled projects on there.  I want a lil c-style album more than any other album comming out, hopefully it will happen.  Same with the twinz album.  It takes money to make albums, and if dpg ain't sellin albums, they can't afford to make others.  C'mon, be realistic, how well will lady of rage do?  Shitty, I gaurantee it.  Especially without the old Dr. Dre g funk sound.  Oh well, its all good as long as daz is releasing albums.  I sure hope he redoes the beat on the remix of pimp slap.

Daz is making hella money. He is independent and sellin a lot because of his name. He already has a lot of hardcore fans like us buying his albums what did his last three projects sell? I think kronik posted Gangsta Shit, Last of the pound and this life i lead sold 300.000 Units together. Thats a lot for an independetn label. Oh yeah and he just won the lawsuit so he'll get enogh credits.

Anyway... most of the artists wont ever be released. U are right.

This news sounds dope, except for a couple things.

First of all, while the independent route is dope as it allows artists better opportunities, it also means (usually) that the artists are rushed and no where near the level they should be.  I mean, Daz has had a couple nice cuts lately, but seriously he needs to step up his game and make the album everyone knows he can.  I actually long for the days when i waited at least two years in between peoples albums, because i knew they would bring quality shit; now, i know it will have some nice cuts buit alot of garbage.  I fear that if Snoop joins Daz his shit will get even more inconsistent.  DOnt get me wrong, it is DOPE if Daz had all these artists on his roster, but i just pray they keep in mind that quality music and making classics is just as important as making the scrilla.  peace
