lol.. your trying to take me back to my sophmore year of highschool... Master P fuccing took over the whole damn music industry, here in the midwest that was like the only shit my homies were listening too..... That was during that odd transition where I was trying to figure out what hip-hop was outside in a post-Death Row world.... and I listened to a lot of wack shit in those days... I have to say Master P was probably the best of the wack, if there is such a thing. He kind of had a movement...Funny how I stumbled on P was actually in buying the Dogg Pound single "Nuttin But A Cavi" hit and that P banger... "IS THERE A HEAVEN FOR A GANGSTA, GANGSTA!!! UHHHH!!!!" was on the back and I was like holy shit who is this?? Then about 6 months later "I'm Bout It" movie/soundtrack kind of took hold amongst the kids that were into rap, then by the time Ghetto D came out Master P was the trend and everyone was bumping No Limit. I remember parties at my homies house and some of us had just gotten our liscence and getting into drinking (unfortunately) and we were partying hard to Ghetto's Trying to Kill Me.You took me back dawg...
NO DOUBT...THIS WAS PRE-NO LIMIT BLOWIN UP, WHEN HE WAS STILL DOIN WEST COAST SHIT, REPPIN RICHMOND

Like I said... I didn't discover P until the B Side of "Nuthin But A Cavi". But after Ghetto Dope dropped at the end of the summer in 97' then No Limit had taken over and we were bumping everything No Limit had, "Ghetto's Tryin To Kill Me" and Ice Cream Man too was an older album everybody was bumpin like new
