he and dem jointz are a duo. they did a few albums together. he just released a good album prod. entirely by dem jointz.

he is talented and his albums are really good but he sounds like kinda kendrick and d smoke. thats why i dont think he is unique.

Dre linked up with Kaan in 2019.
He talked about him in his LL Cool J interview, claiming that they did a shitload of songs. He also mentioned that he got the same feeling from Kaan, that he had when he started working with Kendrick.

Kendrick dropped an aftermath debut after 1,5 years of work and Kaan only left with some Dem Jointz tracks though.

Kaan also straight up said that their tracks will never see the light of day. Which again proves that Dre doesn't care about his fans.

Anyway I followed Kaan for some time, loved some joints.
But he sounds like a Kendrick who doesn't want to sound like Kendrick. Lost interest in him some months ago.
