I wouldn’t call it a classic, but I definitely enjoyed most of it.  I don’t go into any new Dre material thinking he’s going to resurrect the G Funk sound from the early 90s.  Those just aren’t my expectations for Dre anymore.  The people that hate on it would probably call it a classic if it was released by anyone other than Dr. Dre.

chronic is arguably the greatest album to come out in hip-hop history

but compared to everything else that came out in the 2010s, compton can compete with anything

i played compton A LOT when it first dropped …. Gorgeous reminds me a bit of Compton, but i gota take it in.. my initial reaction was that it was a dope beat wit solid Snoop flows
