So Sam Sneed has writing credits on three of the tracks Dre “solo” produced ??

Maybe because of Snoop buying Death row; Dre and Snoop can use the old Sam sneed tracks/beats with his cooperation. Sticky situation is an old J flexx Sam sneed track.

we actually took time with ours … both eastsidaz and dogg pound whipped up a quick album with no attention to detail on the production side of things. real heads such as yaself will notice that immediately and appreciate the nuance that went in to it.

haven't heard the Eastsidaz yet but RBX definitely was better than that Dogg Pound album

as far as the Snoop album I heard only 2 tracks "Gorgeous" and "Outta Da Blue"

they are 1 for 2 so far

he wrote a lot on the chronic.. and more than RBX. i can tell you that from first hand accounts…. not sure where dude getting all that from LOL

Even the writing credits on streaming services show DOC wrote on 5 songs or so.  Who knows how accurate those are?

That could definitely be it- nice catch. That Sticky Situation track is HARD.   But like others have said, Sam Sneed was also working with Dre in the late 2000s, and in 2019.  I guess we will see soon enough.

One thing i've noticed on the 2 released Missionary tracks, is that there are no melodic basslines!
A good bassline can add an extra layer of sound to make it sound a little more 'warmer'

That was a huge part of the “g funk” sound. They had live bass players. Dre thinks that sound is dated
