That was a huge part of the “g funk” sound. They had live bass players. Dre thinks that sound is dated

It doesn't have to be a g-funk bassline, but to not have any bassline isn't a good thing imo!

they aren't complete, i imagine more 'co-producers' will be confirmed in the full credits. eg we know the track with 50/Em is produced with C.S. Armstrong

Yup, As I mentioned in "Vault" the credits still need a final tone, they are not official yet
They are based on the writers/composers listed below each track. There are people who don't read it properly and think they are already the official credits. :ohwell:

We've all complained how Snoop's albums are too long, have too much filler etc.
I'd rather a short sharp album that wants you wanting more, than dragging it out.

I disagree. When we complain that Snoop's albums are too long, we are talking about them having too many songs, not that the songs themselves are too long. The tracclist doesn't solve the problem. Missionary has enough songs. The problem is that the songs are too short.
"Detox" is a myth -- Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, Area 51, Iraq having WMD, Detox...you get it now?  It was invented by the Aftermath marketing department to maintain the fans' attention.  Notice how everytime a new Aftermath album is ready to come out, they always mention Detox is next up?  Because they are using the invention of "Detox" as a way to market other albums.  The sooner you realize that Detox is NOT REAL, the sooner you'll feel liberated.  Oh yeah, f.u. Aftermath for fooling us fans.

unfortunately under 3 minute tracks are the wave right now

I wish we would go back to the standard 3 verse songs with 16s

I hear you, but how long where the tracks on Regulate... G-Funk Era?
With the exception of a few tracks, i'm sure they were around the 3-3:30 min length.

Like I said, i'd rather have a shorter concise album that's on point, than tracks that are dragged out for too long.

I'm very interested on what the other tracks will sound like.
One thing is for sure, Snoop's cadence sounds the best i've heard him in a long time with the 2 released tracks!

I understand your attachment but guys, stop, listening to you we haven't done better since All Eyez On Me  ;D... make a forum of your cds and kiss your ass among yourselves...  8)
