fredwreck is overrated tbh

his best stuff was his dre imitation beats in the early 2000s

I think he is underrated! He had many bangers and HITS. For example also the "Riders on The Storm Remix" still gets mad love everywhere. Or "On Onsite" ; I love this joint.

focus was all over the compton.

yeah only name gives me hope is Fredwreck.
I don't mind Compton and think Focus is a good producer.

What happened to DJ Silk and Chocolate? They were around a lot in the Detox days and I think they produced Talking to my Diary.

"Talking to My Diary" is one of the best tracks on "Compton". And yes, it's produced by Silk, Choc & Dre. 8) 8)

Here's a recent interview Chocolate did if you're interested.

2 Corinthians 6:8
By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

6:9
As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

6:10
As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

My point is, he is not overrated.

No one one is calling him great, top 5 or anything like that (that would be overrating him)

But he is in the good producer bracket.

fredwreck is overrated tbh

his best stuff was his dre imitation beats in the early 2000s

naaah he has his own flavor. he is one of those producers that you realise its produced by fredwreck when u listen to one of his productions.

yeah he did some dr. dre influeced beats but who didnt in early 2000s????

his very first early mainstream production is Mamacita for Kurupt. definately a banger and different than dre's beats.

Raise Up and Fuck With Us from Bones OST are examples of his unique style.

Let's All Roll by KnocTurnal, From Long Beach 2 Brick City by Snoop, Gangsta Nation by Westside Connection...

i can name more to prove his is not doing dr. dre beats, he does his own thing that inspired other producers.

Fredwreck solo >>> Fredwreck with the ICU. It's like Dre solo productions.

agreed %100

That's crazy accurate
Even these days his solo shit is better than what he does with Dre
