I'm not saying it's definitely not from Missionary, it's just my opinion that I don't think it is (I very much hope it is as it sounds dope). It very much has hallmarks of Still DRE with the hard drum beat and the same trombone melody.Dre and the label seem to be very strict when it comes to officially releasing the snippets of the albumThey dropped a small snippet of Gorgeous on the Missionary ad, but that was a proper official ad, so and it would be strange imo for them to release the beat from the album like this.I would have thought they would of kept this gem under wraps so it will be a good surprise for those who will listen to the album for the first time.Like I said, i hope i completely wrong and it is on the album!
hopefully the album has something you can bump your head to because right now it's sounding like a bunch of yes-men and we'll be lucky to get a few great tracks.unthinkable really but then came Outta Da Blue which is possibly the worst track Dre has ever put out. the beat is horrendous, just the fact it made the album and they're actually pushing the song. nothing is off the table as far as quality goes.
Also it's hilarious that some of yall thought that beat was from Missionary lmao. This sounds like youtube fanmade remix of Still Dre, it's crazy that yall can't tell a real from a fake
"Outta da blue" sounds like everything we hate about Compton.
Surely we are expecting better than this?
outta da blue doesn’t sound anything like compton bro LOL
I think dre needs to ride this new west coast sound but with his twist, and adding shit. Yg, kendrick, mustard type beats, even tyga. But with dres touch. I think that he is trying too much. He is too cinematic. Thats is not bad, i like cinematic beats like he did on bustas bing bang track with Nas. That is right direction. Right now it is too much.
