The song is absolutely fire.  Any other artist releasing this track it would be all praise.
What a track!

I like the Sting song for what it is…but damn, Dre missed the boat not rappin in with mustard and Sounwave.

Also, I thought Snoop was supposed to have more “mature” lyrics on this album?  So far it’s the same old shit (BUT the flow is fire)

I agree. It's not the traditional gangsta rap content over traditional westcoast production, so many of the core base aren't connecting with it, especially when Snoop & Dre were known and dropped classics in that field, so people are naturally connected to that time and feeling.

Me personally, my musical taste has broadened over the last 20 years and have become tired of the stereotypical hip hop music in general (there's always exceptions).
I can always go back to the old Death Row catalogue if I want to listen to that classic sound, but i'm now more into other genres.

So far I'm liking what I've heard. It's not going to be the sound or classic I was initially expecting, but at least it's trying something different even though it may not hit the mark entirely.

Regarding interests in genres outside of hip hop, I agree that my musical tastes have also expanded since The Chronic and Doggystyle, but when I hear Dre and Snoop are making an album, I want to hear a straight hip hop album from them, because there aren't many other combinations of producer and rapper that can touch them in hip hop. And so I don't buy a Snoop album wanting to hear him be an average at best singer or Dre try to imitate current pop music. When I buy a hip hop album, I want hip hop. When I buy a rock album, I want rock. When I buy a electronic album, I want electronic. When I buy a country album, I want country. Sometimes people just need to stay in their lane and focus on what they're good at.

What the hell, the sting song dropped on Apple Music and again it’s trash, what’s going on with this album, not one single has been good. Snoop and Dre have lost their legacy status after this album, I don’t even care now if there is a good song on there, 3 songs out and all bad. What the hell they smoking. The dumb album art cover as well. Everything about this record annoys me

We don’t expect g funk or 2001… but if you think these tracks are at any level to Dr Dre standards then you only playing yourself!

Dre scrapped so many great projects as a perfectionist & set the expectations so high that he is now struggling to deliver so far… I don’t hate what I’ve heard but they are not to Dre standards & to have a leaked track like Outta Da Blue feature as a single is just a poor choice!

He did better production on Em’s last album & if Kendrick can make music that’s hitting consecutive no.1’s with that west coast feel, then you suckaz saying this album is not for original fans or is not made for west coast are just stupid cause clearly that sound still hitting right!
