DubCC be like:

“Is Nate Dogg on the hook?”

No.

“Is it G Funk?”

No.

“This fucking sucks! This is wack!”

xzibit’s new stuff isn’t nate dogg or g-funk and it’s not whack ….. same with kendrick’s new stuff ……. u tryin too hard to cape for mediocrity bruh

yeah i feel there's more nuance to the discussion than not gfunk = bad.

sure some people might feel like that but there's a lot of ways you can see these new efforts as just not that great. i like the Sting one though 8)

Ty Dolla Sign was all over people's hook for a while. Did they ever call him a "hook master"?

ty is an r&b singer …. hook master was generally used as hip-hop artists who were notorious for their hooks

kokane
nate
butch
bo-rocc
knocturnal
Levitti

these are artists who could sing but were mainly known for being featured on rap tracks due to their ability to create catchy hooks

Based off the examples, could you agree that it's mostly a West Coast thing?

i wont argue that … west coast music has always been more melodic in nature

Who said xzibit track is dope. Its wack. Horrible chorus. Ordinary beat.

Not only missionary, everythig dre drops or doesnt drop are ICU's fault. Dem Joinz has a heavy role in ICU unfortunately.

The Xzibit track is not for society outside the USA, it is not represented anywhere in the charts

Missionary has become the way Dre and Snoop wanted it, otherwise they would have done it differently, again they said it will be international, other people outside the USA can't do anything with Xzibit on the radio

The discussions and comparisons with other albums or with earlier bring nothing, Missionary is as it is just as they wanted it
