No one is saying it has to be early 90s G-Funk, but why does it have to be Dre fucking around with genres he know nothing about? It just sounds bland and uninteresting as a result. Example, I quite like Sting, but listening to Snoop try to sing alongside him is an absolute joke. Why would I waste my hard earned money supporting a sub par blend of hip hop/pop, when I could instead get a great pop album from someone who can actually sing and a great rap album from someone who is committed to lyrics and flow?
If you don't like it, you should put up with the fact that times change. If you want hardcore hip hop, you shouldn't look for Snoop and Dre anymore
That's one thing to understand though, you are probably part of the small pourcentage that want this from them. Like I've said previously Snoop Dogg is bigger than rap, 75% of the fan base appreciate the persona, the icon, 20% will acknowledge his impact in hip-hop and 5% are the die hard fans that are stuck in area that Snoop and Dre have move on from
yo this sting single sux i really wanted to like it too the beat had potential and wasn’t bad at all.. but u can see they didn’t know where to take it i forced myself to try liking both gorgeous and this latest one they just ain’t it tho
Dj Hed just said that Missionary has nothing to do with Doggystyle. There you have ut
