What marketing lie? They made a new album together after 30 years. Dre said it's different, it sounded international

There are lots of international records that sucked and failed already.

being international doesnt mean its dope.

according to first three singles, internationally it sucks then.

people here are not listening to g-funk only.

we listen to many type of musics. many subgenres of hip hop. old school hip hop, recent hip hop, rock, pop, jazz.

first 3 singles are weak,ordinary, not special at all.

thats it.

im not expecting it to sound like g-funk or doggystyle. i want it to sound dope.

Aside from the song with Jelly Roll I do think the rest of the album is going to sound more hip hop than the singles that have dropped.

I pre-ordered the CD... What a mistake. What we have in singles is really horrible...
Fingers crossed the rest will be better.
Dr. Dre makes us beats worse and worse... what a disappointment...

After watching his performance last night, it makes more sense now. 30 years of hits, with diverse fan base. The crowd had peope from all over with different age groups. Maybe Missionary will be for all of them, hence the various styles and direction.

Also "Drop it like is hot" is Snoops biggest hit. This to me is a Hip-pop joint.

I would say Gin & Juice more than Whats My Name but Drop it like it's hot is universal everybody knows this song from teens to elders,  every culture,

I’m guessing the work the Erick Sermon said he did for this album never came to fruition.  I didn’t notice his name on the credits anywhere.  Unless he worked on that track they previewed on drink champs that Dre said wasn’t finished….

Random question that might be related to this; How do you guys listen to music in general? Is it on the computer? Phone, Bluetooth system? Do you listen to them in the car?

I've played all 3 songs in different setting and devices. OUTTA DA BLUE isn't as bad in the right setting. It is more enjoyable in a loud setting with good speakers, or the car.

In the car, home speakers and also headphones at times.   My problem with Outta Da Blue is Alus.  I don’t know who she is, where she came from or how she got on with Snoop and Dre, but her voice doesn’t add anything to the track and is pretty flat out annoying.  The beat itself and Snoop and Dre are pretty good on the song.
