Colin Wolfe demonstrates live, using a Moog keyboard and bass, how he created the musical parts for Dr Dre's iconic hip-hop album “The Chronic.”
It's crazy how a lot of people keep believing Daz and Warren G made the beats on "The Chronic", but most of them idiots don't even know who Colin Wolfe is. It's a damn shame. Oh, well.
I still think Dre was doing some magic there cause just that keyboard sounds like a little kids keyboard from Fischer Price it doesn't sound like whatever Dre did to it...and if Colin Wolfe was so great why didn't he do classics without Dre?
Who is this guy who asked Colin about Daz? Looks familiar
Colin Wolfe came around when N.W.A made "Efil4Zaggin". That's the first album he and Dre produced. If you don't hear what he brought to the table, I don't know what to tell you.
HAHAH lol.. at one point in the second half Colin is like, "Yeah so that's how we made BITCHEZ AIN'T SHIT" and then this gay guy comes on the mic and is like, "umm yes, so I make opera music, so what advice do you have for me"...and then they got this little white kid on stage jammin out to "DEEEZ NUTZ" it
What's your point exactly?
by far best Dr Dre album and producing. shame ,people dont know Colin Wolfe is behind the chronic ..
