Yeah man that’s the Death Row era Dre—still giving thanks to God—still staying down wit Suge and the hood—not givin a fucc about a bitch—you see the way he played Madonna—like who doesn’t give a hug and smile at Madonna—he ain’t give a fucc he was more focused on plugging the Dogg Food album than anything else, and the bobbing your head bit was a nod to not only heads wringin but the “Respect” track—so just dope all around.

Then next up… a just out of prison Mike Tyson takes the stage.  I mean could life get any better?!?   It’s still 95-96 for me I was bumpin Doggystyle, Lost Boyz, Dogg Food all that shit this week

it was a great era...sometimes I wish I could go back in time and reexperience everything

I bumped Doggystyle yesterday and Im still amazed to this day how perfect it is

Yeah man... same thing happened to me when I replayed it a few weeks ago.  That era though was such a high for me, it was just hard to be in the right mood where I could listen to it and re-live the listening experience and how perfect the album is.

Like the best time in my life was when "How Do You Want It" was #1 on MTV in the summer of 96' and I swear sometimes when I hear that song--I think my player is bad because it plays like it's slow or something... but it's just because my life was so fast then, you almost got to be in the right mood to relive a certain song or album.  Doggystyle is one of them.  I don't think you can just listen to Doggystyle in any kind of mood.  You do have to be in the right mood for it.

he thanks God because he wasn’t a devil worshipper throwing up devil horns back then…

I saw something interesting Dam Funk tweeted last week which might explain Dre's devil horns you're always on about.

Please stop ‘blanket-referring’ this:🤘🏾
as ‘devil horns’. We Funkstaz know it
as ‘The Funk Sign’. When WE throw it
up, it’s reppin’ OUR music / culture,
which is: #FUNK. That’s it &..that’s all.

Thank U. #Peace. | DF

Maybe… I’ve been saying I’m not certain either way on the topic
