to be fair, snoop is a household name and kurupt isn't. Snoop can drop an album with no promotion like Iz it a crime and it will get far more attention than a kurupt album will with promotion.

You're right, Snoop can get attention easily. But Kurupt isn't somebody unknown and with Battlecat production on the entire album, a lot of fans would look at it.

I'm hoping they are working on more songs or something.

There would be a reason behind it.

Jane Handcock's album was delayed because they decided to work on 2 or more songs before releasing it and got the song with .Paak for the album. They delivered a very good album eventually.

I'm fine to be patient as long as the album is decent because it feels like the last hope of getting something decent from Kurupt, maybe to wake Kurupt up again.

Regarding all the bitch shit -

Would you say the time that you spent in the studios with Dr. Dre and all them – did they show you how to be in a freestyle battle? As the MC that he was, did they help you in the ways of structure?

Kurupt - Hit the nail right on the head. Before Dr. Dre and all of them all I did was straight destroy MCs. Behead them one by one by one. Snoop and Dr. Dre taught me how to make songs, they taught me how to make records. Before them, I just wanted body counts. More mics for my mantle.

And you collected a lot of them.

Not really, It's more about the process and single released.

He mentioned there is a new single due out soon but apart from that he didn't go into details about the album, which is disappointing.


Another interesting thing he mentioned is about his kids and how they don't care about his music or celeb status and they care more about his health, always warning him about his drinking.

The fact that he knows about his drinking problem is good.
