The Wash (song)
« on: May 23, 2003, 02:46:35 AM »
I donno about y'all....but for whatever reasons they didn't, I think the STUPIDEST decision dre or snoop or whoever made was to not make a video for this song. I think I liked this song more than Still Dre and even the next episode and jus dippin..........the west could have made some sort of return, or at least got recognition, by releasing this track. In my eyes, it is 100% classic.

It got a lot of airplay. I don't think it would have started any movement or anything but it would have done good for the soundtrack.

I don't understand why this song wasn't more popular than it was...

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

It got a decent amount of airplay here too, but it didn't get played out like I thought it would (and should have).

Yeah it got a little airplay.... here in new york because it was hot... but the record company did not put enough funding into the song for it to get main stream recognition.... example - no music video.... but remember this was probably because the whole wash project was a low budjet project.... makin a dope song a wash....

I don't remember hearing about them shooting a video for The Wash, but i did hear that they did a video for On The BLVD, because i remember reading an interview with King Tee which they (supposedly) did at the video shoot.
