Yeah back in 96 I don't think it was known where the sample was from. Dre probably had someone play it on the piano.

Yeah, I think it was ahead of it's time and over everyone's headz.   Dre was trying to go next level but fans didn't want next level.  They were still trying to catch up to what 2pac had done.  That's why they just followed Master P, DMX, and Ja Rule for the next few years.  They didn't want next level.

Shoulda just gave the beat to King T and cut RC out. That guy can sing about as good as JLo lol.
