Yeah, that could well be true. But I think at the same time it's a Catch-22, because he knows that the longer he stays there without releasing an album, the less likely it is anyone else will pick him up if he leaves. It's been so long now that he'd be hard pressed to find a major that would give a shit if he left Tha Row within even the next six months. So it's a 'better the devil you know' thing, where he feels he might as well stick it out at Tha Row even though he'll more than likely never drop there.

I don't think it's gonna come down to wack beats, I think that if Crooked I fails sales wise, it's 'cause the promotion is bad or he gets hated on for being on Tha Row (you know, hard-core Snoop fans not buying the album 'cause of the label despite the skill.) So basically, I think the label can only fuck up his sales. Crooked has enough skills to make hits.

But, we can only speculate until the album comes out, IF Tha Row puts it out at all. But I can see why Crooked stays with Tha Row - being that he hasn't had any mainstream albums or hits, he's unlikely to get the same kinda treatment from other labels. Crooked I is Tha Row's top priority, whereas on some other label he'd most likely be put at the end of line.

Like T-Dizzog said, it's gonna come down to promotion. I don't think that Crooked I's album will sell well because the promotion will not be there. Crooked I has talent & if he was promoted "Properly" he could really blow up. And I know that he will lose some sales due to the fact that he is on Tha Row which is fuckin stupid. If the product is tight then BUY IT. Fuck, who gives a fuck if he's on Tha Row. You see idiots making posts saying "I will not support Crooked I because he is with Tha Row & I don't want to give Suge my money". That sounds pathetic. If he puts out a tight album then he (Crooked I) deserves your money.

I hope he gets sum big UK promotion.  If R Kelly can get to number 1 then surly Crook can.  Its been a long time since a DOPE rap has been number 1 in britian.  I wud like to see Crook being that man.
