I never said it is gonna be wack, but I am 98% sure that I am going to be dissapointed with it.  Every snoop album since doggystyle has dissapointed me hard.  Music and me was  a huge dissapointment.  Only warren hasn't dropped a dissapointing album.  I know the album is going to have some fucking bangers, and I know that there is going to be some songs that just piss me off so bad that crap like that would make it on the album.  I really, really hope I am wrong.  I hope I have to eat my words, because 213 is the best album to drop in years.  And I would rather have 213 never drop an album than drop a crappy or mediocre album.

Ain't no fun, Groupie, regulators, Annie Mae, can't go for that, eastside party, never leave me alone, friends, nobody does it better, yo sassy ways are all great songs with at least 2 of the 213 members.  If the entire album does not live up to the quality of these songs then I am going to be dissapointed.  I expect nothing less from 213.

Although I expect this album to be pretty bad, I'm still hoping for the best. "So Fly" was wacc IMO, but that's because I hate that damn beat. I have to admit the trio came pretty tight over it though. And I never heard "Sunny Days" or "Run Up On You". And BTW...I thought PTCTBTB was the worst Westcoast album I've ever heard.

Thats ignorance. Neptunes gave Snoop one of his best songs in a long time with Beatiful

That's not ignorance.

"Beautiful" is not one of Snoop's best song in a long time in my humble opinion.  I would have cut that bubblegum shit from the album.

PTCTBTB was a great album. It was the only Snoop album i've officially bought since Doggfather.

Okay, that's your opinion but I'D perfer FAR less commercial shit.

& if he was concerned with being popular, why is it this album is his lowest/slowest selling album ever

Are you joking?  He has two Neptunes produced singles, promoted the hell out of it and he wasn't trying to sell a ton of albums?  Just because he didn't sell like he wanted to doesn't mean he didn't attempt to.

^^yo dawg u do realise that the whole point of makin these albums is to sell them???............they gotta live........

now speakin of the neptunes joint beautiful with snoop.............aint no way anyone would leave that off their album if they did that joint, itd sell nuff, had a catchy hook and its a dope summer joint, no one can deny that, whether u dig it or not........

on ptctbtb..............i liked the album alot cuz of snoop, it had less stand out tracks that last meal but was more solid top to bottom............

anyways imma go watch a movie now, but these typa things can go on foreva, but at the end, when 213 finally drops and ppl who are willin to giv a unbiased review of it, i'll respect dat, personally i cant see it bein nuttin less than dope, i jus hope it dont dissapoint.........

peace

No it shouldn't be, it wouldn't for me, I would make the best album I can make and hope to sell with that.  You can sell without rhyming over those candyass beat with the same sounding chorus as everything else on the radio.

Look at Nas, he released God's Son around the same time.  He focused on making the best album he could make and yes it was no Illmatic but it was still one of the best of 2002 and STILL went platinium on the strenght on a pure hip-hop street single.

Snoop can still make a great album without making commercial records and still sell.

Im not hating on 213 or nothing like that but I aint buying no wack ass music, I dont care if it was made on the edge of the pacific ocean.  If sunny dayz is a sign of whats to come than Im downloading this shit and if its wack I diddnt loose.  Run up on u was cool but not long term heat.  So fly has blown up but thats just a mixtape song.  so it really doesnt need to be mentioned. but if all they have is one or two dope songs than Im downloading it.  Im going to wait for the first single if it aint bangin :P

RIght now we've heard 3 tracks. 2 tight ones, 1 wack song.

thats your opinion. None of those 3 tracks got me even semi-hyped for the album, average at best.

yes.........

and the fact is, the album is GONNA BE WACK....Neptunes + Timbaland = on westcoast album ======== Super Wack......Just look at Snoop.......

Nima, just face the fact

Thats ignorance. Neptunes gave Snoop one of his best songs in a long time with Beatiful

I've never said it will be wack or even think that it will be.  But I bet it will be along the lines on Paid The Cost To Be The Boss.  I just don't trust Snoop now, it just seems he's more concerned with being popular, high sales and making money then he is with making a classic hip-hop album.

PTCTBTB was a great album. It was the only Snoop album i've officially bought since Doggfather.

PTCTBTB was a great album? are u serious? thats the worst snoop album i've ever heard...even the first no limit album was better then that wack ass shit...production just fucked up that album...

im going to go out on a limb and say that the stuff that we have heard from them is the commercial stuff to promote this album u know so the mainstream can get into it, i expect some dope ass 213 songs

on paid the cost snoop didnt use his westcoast influenced songs as singles, he used the neptunes song

hope we get to see warren produce, the only eastcoast producer that i actually wanna hear on this album is Hi Tek cause he makes some smooth ass chillin beats ( cool, i miss that bitch etc...)

Last Meal & the one before that had SUM good beats, but Snoops had the weakest voice & flow he ever had. Even a bit on Doggfather he was like that. But since he quit weed, most of the songs on Boss were the best raps Snoops spit since 1996

& if he was concerned with being popular, why is it this album is his lowest/slowest selling album ever

lol omfg please tell me your kidding, thats the funniest shit ive heard in a long time.

ahahahaha

Its funny, no one called it bubble gum until it became a hit single. I remember all the topics saying the song is great & everythang. I loved the song, now its a little tiring coz i hear it all the time, but its still a great song. Who cares if he rappin about love, thats what he wanted to spit on it.

He promoted the hell out of Tha Last Meal, of course the record execs want it to sell, they want the money, but Snoop uses the beats & producers he feels. Besides Neptunes are great producers, who cares if they produce for pop & rnb artists as well as rappers

Who cares. Rap aint just about production. Its about flow voice & lyrics, & as far as that goes, thats Snoops 2nd best effort next to Doggystyle. Beats were pretty cool to, sure Top Dogg, Doggfather & SOME of the Last Meal have better production, but to say an album with production from Meech, Battlecat, Soopafly, Neptunes & Premier is worse than the No Limit album is REDICOLOUS!!!

Would i be joking if i was willing to buy it for AU $30!! when i had the mp3's already?
