I'd give the Chronic & Doggystyle...

A solid 4 Mics each. Am I the only one who can see these albums are far from perfect?

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

When i think of classic albums i think of these along with a few others... i have never thought these albums were lower then a 5/5 or hell maybe even a 6/5 or 11/10

The best 2 albums ever IMO.  The Chronic changed the game and started a whole new era, and Doggystyle, well I dont even need to speak on that.

Both perfect albums IMO.

No. I'm a White man. They just both have a few sub-par tracks.

On The Chronic I dislike Dre Day, Let Me Ride, A Nigga Witta Gun & the skits *skits really ruin an album for me
On Doggystyle I dislike Who Am I , Gz & Hustlaz & the skits, and think For all My Niggaz & My Bitches & Doggy Dogg World are average, neither good or bad.

I'd give 5 Mics too:
Nas Illmatic
Wu-Tang 36 Chambers
Paris The Devil Made Me Do It & Sleeping With The Enemy
Del I Wish My Brother George Was Here
Ice Cube Amerikkka's Most Wanted, Death Certificate & Predator
NWA Straight Outta Compton
Eric B & Rakim Paid In Full & Follow The Leader
Public Enemy Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back & Fear Of A Black Planet
Big Daddy Kane - Long Live the Kane
dead prez - Let's Get Free
Mystic - Cuts For Luck & Scars For Freedom
Maybe a few more, those are off the top of my head. Albums where the beats & rhymes are both amazing. Just one isn't enough for me.

What's weird about that?
