Hopefully they just split up for the time being to do they own thing. Cube with his movies and 1-0 and Dub with they music. Hopefully there ain't no bad blood cuz that would just downright suck. "Terrorist Threats" was a disappointment to me so I'm fiendin' for some more WSCG shit in '04.

i don't think the album is selling well.  looking at billboard, i doubt that shit even goes gold when it's all said and done.

shit doesn't surprise me.  westside connection wasn't a real group.  it was a "super group"  at first, they came together to represent the west against all the hating that was going on.  that shit is over now.

the only reason they came together again was to sell records.  what the fuck do they stand for now?  their anti r&b crossover tracks?  that's silly.  why is cube sporting a jheri curl?  it's a gimmick.  and if the album isn't selling, there's not point in them continuing to do it.  especially cube.  wscg was clearly just an avenue to get his name back out there on the music tip, and if that ain't hitting, fuck it.  go back to doing movies.  see if you can get that heltah skeltah project or that nwa project going.  but at this stage in his [cube] career; he's not doing this wscg shit because he's hungry and he needs to eat.  so if it ain't sellin' no need to keep at it.

and to make it clear, i bought the album.  i'm not hating.  if the music sounds good i'm going to buy it, i don't give a damn if they are rhyming from the heart or if it's all about the money.  but this shit was clearly a gimmick, the return of the wscg was all about the album sales, and if shit don't make dollars there's no reason for a cat like cube to keep fucking with it when he has so many other avenues.  sadly most of them in this music shit are dead, but he's had a solid career.

shit is much worse for wc and mack 10, because mack 10's solo career is dead, as is dub c's.  wscg was the biggest thing they did, and if that shit ain' crackin', ain't nothing crackin' for them.
