bad azz and tash both have had their mainstream exposure, and they have songs and voice deliveries suitable for both the commercial and underground fans. so my vote is to both of them.

I hate how tv shows always do that when they play a track, they never actually tell you who the guests are, so people who aren't hiphop fans and don't recognise the person never know who they are. There are so many dope emcees who guest on shit that gets played a lot and like you said, people be singing the verse to themselves in college and shit, yet they have no idea who the guy is. Shit pisses me off big time.

dude, i like too short's music, some of it, but thats all, his music is dope, only cause he makes good music doesnt mean hes skilled, or a dope rapper, cause hes not, hes an extremely weak rapper, bad lyrics and a simplistic flow
hes all about production and charisma, not skills, thats too short

DJ Quik - He's hailed as one of the best producers but he is skilled as an MC too. Not a supreme lyricist but underrated.
