50 Cent is the most overrated rapper of all time... Ja Rule atleast had some tight songs on his first album and some deep shit... he fell off thou but 50 Cent is only getting worse... Snoop Dogg is overrated now, back in the day he had the sickest flow thou... Jay-Z is kind of overrated but i think he's a good rapper thou...

damn this topic has been discussed endlessly on this forum! But i would say some of the most over rated rappers are E-40, The ones already mentioned, LL cool J, and Juvenille. They all suck, yet many people think thy're great

Here's a few that are over-rated.

Ludacris - I really see no talent and his southern speech seems like he fakes it. Wack!!!
50 Cent -May speak real, but so do a lot of cats. Yet to be blown away with lyrics to fill the massive attention he seems to receive

Jay Z is far too over-rated now. He had talent at one point (Reasonable Doubt era) but not now. Everyone seems to praise his "YIP", "Young Hov", "R-O-C" etc. speech and claims he's a trendsetter in both fashion and music. Ever since I've moved to the UK I've watched a channel called mtv europe uk, which has tha lick tv show. Now the presenter is a guy called Trevor Nelson. He praises Jay Z too much and uk radio fag Westwood thinks Jay Z is the hottest rapper today (if not, 50 cent)

I miss home for it's variety but I'm telling you - come to UK and there's none!

lloyd banks is overrated but not as much as 50 cent
jay-z is overrated too. people keep talking about wat a classic the black album is. i didnt like it at all. i just dont like his flow. too jerky. good thing he retired.
