Snoop used to be my favourite rapper and pretty much got me into to hip-hop.  It's pretty sad how little I care about him now.

Why would he release an album on Star Trak when he has his own damn label?

Uhh I'm just guessing here but maybe it has something to do with the fact that the neptunes are popular as f*ck..... This is his chance of having a bunch of neptunes productions on the same album, and sell like sh*t (in a sellout way..)..

I'm goin' outon a limb here, but I figured out something positive about this - if this IS happening, that is. Since Star Trakis distributed by Interscope, there shouldn't be much trouble in getting Dre doing a beat on there... Hopefully Snoop does hook up with Dre this time, it was just plain dumbthat he didn't for his last album considering what great chemistry the two have.

I'll admit it: "Chronic" was dope, and "From The Chuuch To The Palace" and "Beautiful" were decent. However, if it drop on Star Trak hopefully the Neptunes only do a few tracs, and he actually has producers like Battlecat, Warren G, Dre, Daz, etc. doin' the rest. But with Snoop it's doubtful.

meh... who cares which label he releases with? Top Dogg came out on No Limit, but their influence on the album was miminal. That album had a lot of westcoast production, am I wrong?

"Snoopafly", executive produced by P.Diddy and released on Neptunes label..

Means that there's a good chance of getting Snoop's recent collaborators Loon(Bad Boy), Justin Timberlake (Nep toon), etc. on the album.. this just gets better and better.

First off, From the Chuuch to the Palace was wack.  Secondly  Me and Snoop got a love hate relationship going.  He shows flashes of his old self on his mixtapes occasionaly, but his albums suck.  I thought this was a west coast forum, so why we talkin about snoop.  Aint he from the east coast?  He's supposed to be king of the west coast, but he cant produce an album unless diddy or neptunes are doing it.  I know he tryna sell, but damn.  I mean, the neptunes is cool, they got skills.  BUt if ya boy cant sell with all this westcoast talent, than that has to say alot about Big snoop.  And the neptunes are a hit and miss with snoop.  I mean, the overall public wasnt feelin chuuch/palace and if it wasnt for beutiful, snoop proly wouldnt even have pushed plat.  I wont even talk about that "snoop dogg" bullshit.  When was the last time you heard that on the radio.  Does he even perform that at his own concerts?  Ill give it to him on that welcome to atlanta remix tho.

why is snoop always on the tail end of the hottest label at the moment? (i know star trak isn't exactly the 'hottest label at the moment, but you understand what i'm saying...) remember his deal with no limit? what a frontrunner....
