Well, artists may or may not be the last ones to give an OK on an album cover or things like that, it depends on their contract. I don't know if any of y'all know of him, (most likely don't), but this Finnish rapper Redrama said in an interview once that he paid special attention to what it says on his contract, 'cause the labels sometimes put some shady shit in there or exploit the loopholes in it. He said that among other things, he put a special clause in his contract that the record company has no right to decide what he (Redrama) can and can't wear. He mentioned in the interview that sometimes artists are made to wear certain clothes by the record company 'cause they have some sort of promotion deal with that clothing label. They don't ask the artist "Could you wear this Karl Kani stuff?", they make them wear it. So since things in this industry get into specifics like this - that an artist has to have a clause in his contract that says what he wears is entirely up the artist himself - it wouldn't be a wonder that an album cover isn't OK'd by the artist or that the album name is changed just like that.

aight here is what I think about warren g and the whole 213 situation.  I think snoop, warren, and nate all talked about it.  I think they probably talked about it with some record exec too.  I mean c'mon, these guys are supposed to be childhood friends, and they made a group album together, and you don't think they talk about whether or not warren's beats should go on the album?  Do you seriously think that conversation has never come up between all them?  Just think about yourselves and your friends.  I'm sure everyone has arguments all the time with their friends.  Seriously, is there anyone on this forum that if they were in the same situation as warren g, that they would not ask snoop why your beats didn't get put on?

I think that warren g doesn't want to get other people (such as nima and net fans) involved in the situation.  and plus maybe snoop listened to warren's beats, and decided that they wouldn't do well for the album.  so snoop tells warren that.  do you think warren really wants to admit to that?
