anyone pick this game up for PC or Xbox?

i think this game is the shit. i found it at toys r us for $10 a few days ago and i've been playing the shit out of it.

it's 80% FPS and 20% RPG. the story is like a classic sci fi/ action movie story... you're a recruit for this top secret special ops unit that enhances it's people with nanotechnology. different factions have found out about you and start doing terrorist attacks on cities such as chicago and seattle. after the attack on seattle, you pretty much make your escape and have to figure out what you want to do...you could be a mercenary, you can join the terrorists, join the law, or continue with your special ops.

every RPG i make a thief/assassin and this is the first time i've been able to do it with a FPS. there's about 15 different mods to  make on your character (you can only do 5 at a time) there's tons of computer AI characters, every thing is voice acted and it's done pretty well, rag doll physics, great lighting, music picks up during suspenseful scenes...

graphics are about an 8.5. it's not halo and there are some periods of slowdown especially when you start tossing grenades at groups of soldiers...oh and i'm a big fan of rag doll physics... i like watching limp bodies fly after an explosionand getting stuck in rafters... also throwing bodies in dumpsters should be an olympic sport

gameplay is 9.5 it's not as customizable as a full RPG, but it works out perfectly, if you want to rely on stealt and speed, go ahead, if you want to have a bunch of tiny robot helpers that do anything from stopping radiation, to spying...it's there, if you want to make a nano rambo...you can do it

sound 8.5 voices are pretty good, none too dramatic or none too mellow. all noises sound like they should, from the hollow clangs of walking on venting, to the pitter patter of tip toeing on cement

AI 8.0 not the best part of the game... enemies duck and dodge, investigate noises but they can't climb ladders, can't see through fences and sometimes you can hack at them 2-3 times with a plasma sword before they decide to turn around and see what is piercing their backs

overall i give the game a 9.3. it does ALOT more right than it does wrong and for the $10 price from Toys R Us...you can't beat it

in all i'd give this game a 9.3

I played it for Xbox, and beat the game in a few days.  I didn't think the RPG aspect of it was that important...you chose which of the 3 or 4 factions you were, and that decided the ending movie...thats about it.

But other then that, I loved the game.  I'd give it an 8.2/10

Ooohhhh yeah... I played the demo when it came out way back. I was supposed to get it, but I guess it slipped by me. Gotta remember to get my hands on it. The first game was good though, hope this is too.

i have the game and for some reason the story just isn't pulling me in.  since yall think it's so great, i guess i'll have to try again.  i remember i used to feel the same way about kotor and then i finally got far enough for the game to get good... now it's one of my favorites.  maybe the same will happen for this game.

that's what happened to me too, i played it once i got it for about 2 hours and nothing really good was happening so i put it down for about a week. when i decided to pick it up, i deleted my old guy and started a new one. i guess i just decieded to get into it. i read the booklet, i made my mind up as to what mods and weapons i was going to use and then i just tried to get into character when i played. it turns out that this is one of the most impressive characters i've made, i've got the hacking mod, silent walk mod, regenerate mod, EMP mod and strength mod maxed out, and my weapons of choice are the energy blade, assassin's pistol and concussion grenades
