The American Dollar Just Dropped

I was just listening to the Radio, they were talking stock market crap, and they said the American Dollar just took a big drop.  Seems a lot of people aren't happy to hear Bush was re-elected.

I don't want the Canadian and American dollar to be equal, I want it to be like it was back in 1999/2000, our dollar was at like 0.63, now it's at 0.80.  The lower our dollar is compared to yours, the better.  The more equal our money is, the less Americans will spend here.  Canada needs your money!  Seriously.

the falling dollar is good for america because american companies become more competitive abroad and imports into america become more expensive making them both more competetive at home and abroad

One more drop and I'm taking all my Canadian money and converting it to American. The way I see it there's no way this can last. So when the American dollar eventually gets strong again, I'll get like a third more money back. It's a win win situation, unless the US dollar plummits, but I can't see that happening.

The dow jumped because of three large industries: energy, pharmaseuticals, and defense.  They all expect more favors from GWB just like he gave them in his 1st term.
