I never have thought he was very funny, personally.  A 40 year old Beatle tape has more style class charm charisma humour entertainment value whatever you want to call it then he'll ever have in his entire career.  When women faint when he walks on stage, then I'll listen to his opinion about the Beatles.  When he changes the world, the entire fucking social climate of the WORLD with his music.... then I'll listen to his opinion on the Beatles.  When he's considered one of the greatest musicians alive, then I'll listen to his opinion on the Beatles.  When he's Knighted......... then I'll listen to his opinion on the Beatles.  Not until.

Well, maybe it was a joke, but his career is a joke compared to the class acts he was joking about.

^ Yeah. He was funny on "The Man Show" but "Jimmy Kimmel Live" sucks, I was shocked he had people laughing yesterday.

^ Prob. Not.  It wasn't really anything different than a typical Beatles performance, it was them, early 64 or late 63, singing "She Loves You", then about halfway through, they switched straight into "I Want To Hold Your Hand"... all the girls were screaming and shit going crazy, and it showed some close ups of Paul, John, George and Ringo singing it. Oh, and Ringo Starr introduced the video, live from London.

Take it easy man. The guy was being sarcastic. Which is actually a complement. He said boring because it was the furthest thing from boring. It's like watching Michael Jordan score 18 points in the last 4 minutes of a basketball game and saying "what's so special about that?". They know it's special and they use sarcasm to make it funny, and it was funny. You just let your personal feelings interfere with innocent humour.

Oh, and by your standards, Elton John's opinions can can shit all over everything the Beatles have done and you'd take it seriously.

^ I'd take Elton John's opinon on the Beatles seriously, sure.  He's a legend, if he has something to say, I'd listen to it.

Sarcasm is weak humour, the shit wasn't funny, and Kimmell never is.  He's a shitty comedian... that Wanda bitch is even funnier than he is.

Whether the humour is weak or not, there is no reason to be offended. I bet Paul McCartney wasn't offended. Sacrasm is present in comedy everywhere. I find it hard to believe it is weak. So what is strong humour?
