A few that come to my mind...

Eric Sermon and Parrish Smith (EPMD)
Sticman and M1 (Dead Prez)
Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg (though they both can hold it down on their own, they're better when they're together)
Method Man & Redman (their solo stuff is great too, especially Redman's, but they're a incredible duo)
Ghostface and Raekwon (they need each other, but when they're together they're the ultimate duo imo)
Capone & Noreaga (they can do some incredible shit when they're together)

lmao,why didnt anyone mention Gang Starr???Rae & Ghost are great together,Dogg Pound is also up in one of the best rap duo's ever.

do both have to rap? otherwise, Eric B.& Rakim and Pete Rock & CL Smooth (i know pete rapped occasionally, but the MC´ing credit is 99% CL

and yeah, can´t noooobody fuck with Milli & Vanilli. And Mauzip & Mr. Lowride are a force, too
